Frequently Asked Questions

  • We prioritize strength and stability. Our cabinet boxes are constructed from high-grade, domestic plywood (never particle board) which holds screws better and resists warping. For the drawers, we use solid maple with dovetail construction, ensuring they stand up to decades of daily use.

  • Yes. Our finishing system is built around professional-grade coatings supplied by Sherwin-Williams and their commercial team. We can match Sherwin-Williams colors precisely and are also able to match approved samples from other sources when needed. This system allows us to deliver a smoother, more durable finish than standard residential paint products.n text goes here

  • We use Salice hardware as our standard. They are an Italian manufacturer known for precision engineering. All our doors and drawers feature soft-close hinges and undermount slides that operate smoothly and quietly.

  • It starts with a conversation. Once we understand your space and goals, we move to design and engineering. We provide detailed 3D renderings and shop drawings so you can visualize the final result before we ever cut a piece of wood.

  • The difference is in the tolerances. Many semi-custom cabinets rely on "fillers" to make standard-sized boxes fit your wall. At Kavod, we build frameless and inset cabinetry sized to within a fraction of an inch of your specific room dimensions. This results in a cleaner look with no wasted space.
